Hi Everyone,

This page is for anyone singing in Big Sing 2011 at Roy Thomson hall on Sunday, November 6, 2011.

I thought I’d start this page to centralize our rehearsal information.

This is one of the more complicated SATB pieces so make sure you play your notes to get an idea of what your specific part sounds like and PRACTICE!

A regular setting of this hymn (to get the tune) but it’s in the wrong key.

This is one of the harder songs so use your piano or the Virtual Keyboard to plunk out your notes and PRACTICE!

Wow, what an event!!!

Here were a couple of highlights for me:

- singing joyous hymns with 1,000 other voices and the amazing NYTB brass band.

- listening to Hiram Joseph sing while an artist painted an amazing picture … just like this video!

- And finally, the ability to say that I’ve sung at Roy Thomson Hall before!
