Things Kids Say – On Sandwiches and Storytime

Episode 1 – Clean Mom making a sandwich for Book Boy

Book Boy (aged 6) – Mommy, is this mustard in my sandwich?

Clean Mom – Oops, yes it is, I forgot you don’t like mustard.

BB – Mommy, what were you thinking?!?  Did your brain take a coffee break?

(Clean Mom couldn’t get upset because she was trying too hard not to laugh…)

Episode 2 – Incredible Dad about to read a bedtime story to Ballet Girl

Incredible Dad - Okay, why don’t you read this first page.  What is this word?

Ballet Girl (aged 4) – I don’t want to read it.

ID - Why not?

BG(in a whisper) Because I want to hear your wonderful voice...

(And yes, I read the whole story to her… actually, two…)

Awww don’t you just love ‘em. My children are older now and say less and less funny things. But I certainly enjoyed magic moments like these. Thanks for sharing : )
