My wife and I ate at Milos restaurant for the first time last week for a pre Father's Day lunch , We chose the Mousaka as it is one of our favourite Greek dishes.
The whole meal was a disaster, we were told it was home cooked, I don't think it was!
The Mousaka did not have any flavour and did not taste fresh, and was soggy, the whole meal was served on one plate with the salad and vegetables all mixed up. Never have I had carrots, broccoli and cauliflower served with this dish, usually it is with a garden vegetable, The HOT Garlic bread was" Cold"
We did not eat the meal and when the server came to clear the table asking if we enjoyed our food we told her how bad it was, but received no apology or suggestion to have a different meal so we had no chance to find out if their other dishes were any better
Based on this I am sorry to say I would not recommend this restaurant

Ouch... sad to hear your experience wasn't good. I actually don't mind the garlic bread... although it was a bit bigger than a hot dog bun though... ;-)

WORST Greek restaurant in the GTA.
Since when is a toasted hot dog bun acceptable with your greek salad appetizer? This should have been the first warning that the main course would be equally appalling...

No apology and no discount offered. It's clear that the management of this establishment has no love for food or their customers.

Avoid at all costs!

Wow, what an ordeal (but I'm glad you recovered!).

While I haven't had this type of experience at Milos' (and when viewing their food prep area with the kids from our table, everything looked clean and well kept), you just never know what can happen. I once had a similar experience with a high end restaurant in the north end of the city... very painful. Thanks for sharing your experience with us and if I ever chat with the owner, I'll let him know.

A group of us had ordered take out one evening before a major event. Everyone had the chicken souvalki and I was the unfortunate one to have the poisoned Mousaka, as it was my favourite Greek dish. What a terrible decision!!! I’m not certain how old the Mousaka was or what was done to it? I had severe food poisoning!!! I’ve never had food poisoning and I would never wish it on anyone else. It was torture and seemed like it lasted a lifetime. Took me four days to get back to normal from the ordeal and will never return (or recommend) Milos Greek Restaurant. I’ve tried numerous times to contact the owner…..without any success.
